I had a pretty productive day yesterday. I went to RSB, Rehab Services for the Blind. It is a Missouri agency for which I have qualified. They can now help me out learning a lot of things I have been trying to figure out on my own.

The biggest benefit they offer is the Wolfson Library. I can get talking books by mail and return them so in a pretty neat system. I have been starving for input. Talking books just plain suck as nearly as I can tell, but it's better than nothing. That's my theme lately "It's better than nothing."

I still haven't been able to find out if I'm supposed to go back to work Monday or not. I guess I'll just go and make 'em throw me out if that is what is to happen.

I'm working with windows-eyes from gw-micro. The boss at RSB said that is the way to go in this neighborhood. I don't like it much. I can't seem to customize it in any way that is desirable to me. Frustration is the focal point of the product. I think it is intended that someone set it up for you, as I can't wade through the manual to find much of anything.

I spoke to lutron today. That would be the person, not the corporation. He was on his way to D & D. I haven't done that in more…

  • Another day another dollar. I need a rate increase.

I have been cat-waxing all day. I really need to write some more on my NaNoWriMo novel. It is a take off on Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake…
