Early Riser

Today I'm an Early Riser, something I traditionally consider to be a vice.

I won't go into why I think Early Rising is a vice. Read Robert Heinlein for the answer. Search for the story of The Man Who Was Too Lazy To Fail.

As may be, I rose an hour early today (at Midnight) for no particular reason, just couldn't sleep anymore. Sometimes this is a sign of a productive day if I wake filled with energy. Sometimes this is the sign of a day filled with intense boredom as I can't sleep and haven't the energy to do much. So far I can't tell what sort of day it will be.

I have reached a milestone in constructing my recipe site. I have now entered all the recipes I had queued up as having been tried but not recorded. Anything I have left on my lists has to be tried once or twice before I can add it to the site. I guess that's good news and bad news… that task done, I must now start cooking.

Today will be nothing new in the kitchen. I've promised my Sis sausage gravy and biscuits for lunch. Lunch will be late as she has Physical Therapy at noon and I see the Chiro at 13:30. That means lunch will be lupper, our family's word for lunch combined with a light supper (we use the word splunch also, quite interchangeably).

I'll update again later in the day (probably).

It is my sad duty to report that my Brother Bob passed away from a heart attack on 1/31/13. I know he had many followers on Live Journal. I thought…

  • I spoke to Lutron today

I spoke to lutron today. That would be the person, not the corporation. He was on his way to D & D. I haven't done that in more…

  • Another day another dollar. I need a rate increase.

I have been cat-waxing all day. I really need to write some more on my NaNoWriMo novel. It is a take off on Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake…
