Recipes and Poetry and a dream about chess

A dream about chess

I was playing chess last night in my dreams. It was a bizarre game in that every piece was of human size and mired in mud. None of the chess pieces were alive, just huge. I made moves with difficulty because they were stuck on a muddy board where the squares were all too small for the pieces. The pieces themselves (mine) were silver with highlights in blue and were all themed as something magical. The King and Queen were sorcerers, the bishop a pointy-hatted Wizard, and so on. I don't remember any dialogue taking place. I don't remember any action, really, save trying to move the pieces and having trouble because of their size and the muck.

The inside of my head is a yucky place, I think. I should post some "Keep Out!" signs.

I have updated my website with several recipes and a poem. louderpoetry, of course, got a copy of the poem. The recipes are Beef Stroganoff (slow cooker), Czech Roast Pork, Greek Stuffed Peppers, Round Steak Sauerbraten, Sweet & Sour Meatloaf, Tangy Pork Roast, Tex-Mex Burgers, Crab Meat (imitation) Salad, Monkey Meat, Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie, and Mustard Green Beans.

         Yes, I have been busy.

No freewriting today unless I can bring myself to do it later.

I spoke to lutron today. That would be the person, not the corporation. He was on his way to D & D. I haven't done that in more…

I have been cat-waxing all day. I really need to write some more on my NaNoWriMo novel. It is a take off on Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake…
