My day off
nanowrimo 2010

For a wonder I slept from 19:00 (that's right, 7pm last night) until 4:30 (my usual wake-up time). I must remember to get an alarm clock smart to turn itself off for a three day weekend. I actually feel rested. Of course that is probably to compensate for my busy day.

I have a 10:30 appointment with Dr. "bone breaker" DuDu the chiropractor. An afternoon appointment with my cardiologist Dr. Jujube and then it's back to good old Doc Aruba. Gods but I'll be healthy by 18:00!

Re: Smart Alarm Technology

I did that once or twice, turned off my alarm in my sleep. I was really surprised when I woke up several hours later... kinda sucked to miss the lecture but who needs class anyway right? yeah.

Re: Smart Alarm Technology

I have a pretty accurate internal clock honed to accuracy from long habit. I've awakened at 5:30am for years and usually do so just in time to shut off my alarm. This business of getting up at 4:30 to go to work by 6:00 is unnatural.

Hyphotherapist's trick: Visualize a clock face (analog works best) with the current time as you lie down to sleep. Precess the hands to the time you want to wake, seeing the hands move past all the hours, letting the big and little hands whirl around as fast as you like (it gets faster with practice). You'll almost always wake up at the time you "set". It works! I've taught many people to do it. It's how I wake myself for non-5:30 mornings. It'll even let you sleep later than your usual time.
