"Crap and you crap alone pee and urination!" I shall expect one graffito
I'm feeling particularly sarky today. I can't say why exactly, as it has been a good day. The morning started slowly and with a rude awakening. My home health nurse came by to pick up the pulse-ox machine that I was supposed to wear last night (oops!) and woke me. She will return with said device on Tuesday. The advent of Vman around noon led to lunch at El Jimador. Vman is a friend from Walkers in Darkness. There! I explaned who and what a Vman was, will some Spanish speaker out there explain to me what "El Jimador" means as the name of a restaurant? Babel Fish, which handles most translations for me quite well, helpfully (and uselessly) suggests that "El Jimador" means "The Jimador". If I find that this restaurant chain is run by James Ador, I am going to be soooooo pissed!
The afternoon I spent comatose, as Mexican lunches tend to do that to me. Now at supper time (the thought of food revolts me at the moment) I find myself wide awake and fearful of getting a night's sleep. A nap often obviates any need on my part to sleep until such time as other people are awake.
A new car is in my future. I am going to have to find (well, my sister will) a vehicle that fits her (and my) criteria. I get to put in my two cents, because I will probably put in a lot more than two cents on this car. The vehicle cannot be small. Janet likes to be high up as a pickup-truck is (or as is our current vehicle, a '96 Ford Explorer) for the visibility. Size is also a factor as neither she nor I like to climb down into a seat. Room for two passengers in addition to my sister and me is essential, though the only two passengers will almost certainly be only Jirel and Nickki (50 lbs and 20 lbs of doggie, respectively). Cargo space would be nice. I am thinking hatch-back or maybe one of the smaller Toyota extended cab pickups. Gas mileage is, of course, a factor, as well as economy of maintenance. The overall price of the vehicle needs to be on the low side, so we will probably have to buy used. We'll look at new vehicles first, but I think it unlikely we can afford payments on one.
No freewriting this time. I actually feel like doing it, but have just decided not to do so in order to be true to my quizzical mood. So there!
