Two days in a row have been OK. Yesterday I visited my aunt. It was enjoyable and we plan to have lunch "out" next week one day. We will ride my handicap bus together and try our favorite chinese restaurant. Today I had lunch with my friend Randy from work. We met at a Panera's. There is a new sandwich there called a Coronado Carnitas Panini. It was a spicy beef sandwich on soft bread. The bread reminded me a little of the Cuban bread I used to get in Miami.
I am trying to get out a bit and not just sit around the house. Today, in addition to my lunch, I had my Social Security Disability initial interview. I also stopped by my doctor's office to sign some release of information forms. Tomorrow my only activity will be going to the hospital for an EEG. I think I will take the time to cook a more elaborate than my usual (which is extremely simple) dinner. I have some bratwurst that I plan to prepare. I may barbecue them, and make some potato salad.
While at Panera's I broke down and bought some bread. Since I got my bread maker, I have resolved not to pay for bread anymore, but Panera's has a great rye loaf and I picked up an Asiago demi. Both are really good.
