Sunday afternoon - the deep dark teatime of the soul

I'm not enjoying the weekend. It's too bloody hot. I tried to get out a little, but even a mostly-air-conditioned trip to the grocery exhausted me. I tried Friday and Saturday nights to visit the Jazz festival which has been going on just about four blocks away. Both times the crowd and the heat drove me back inside. Just not worth it.

Something trashed my friends list again. I went from about fifty to about twenty. I've added most of you back in, I think.

I'm going to try to write today.
