Today's Lyric:
She came to me one morning
One lonely Sunday morning
Her long hair flowing
In the midwinter wind
I know not how she found me
For in darkness I was walking
And destruction lay around me
From a fight I could not win
Lady In Black
Ensiferum
(Uriah Heep cover)

I'm up at 4:00 am again. I really hate these ante meridiem adventures of mine. It's been long and long since I've really slept well. I dreamed tonight of walking among giants. The scenery was tropical and there was a roaring of beasts. I don't remember any more than that.

Today is the day Vman moves in. He'll be here later with a friend. Vman is a friend of mine from Walkers in Darkness who needs a leg up at the moment. I don't know how long he'll live here, but he is welcome.

This will cause my sister and I to swap rooms. She will get the "master" bedroom with its own bath while Vman and I will share the bath down the hall. Sis has outgrown her room anyway, while my use of my own has shrunk.

I find it odd that my life is contracting around me. I own less and less all the time. And yet, I am always surrounded by piles of crap? How does that work?

No writing today. Perhaps something later. The phrase "walking with giants" resonates. I feel a poem coming on.
